Costa RIca was SOOOOO Fun!

I never thought that I would get to do too much with my old friends from school but you get Joanna and I together and it is like we have not been apart. She is one of those friends that you know and will always love. She was teased most of the time by Jared and Tello but it was a lot of fun.

We were so lucky to get to meet up with Linda. She had been there since late November and spoke fluent Spanish so she was a lot of help. I am sure she wishes she had not met up with our husbands. They were probably more than what she was ready for. Lets just say they can be a little obnoxious.
Linda showed us some great places to go and helped us figure out things that would be enjoyable while we were there. this is where she has been living for the past few months.

You can only imagine the thoughts that were going through our minds when we pulled up and saw this. It wasn't as bad as we thought it was. I would actually like to learn a lot more about the foods they eat there. I need to get a little mor health concious about what I am eating and also feeding my kids.

We didn't really relax a lot while we were there. We played pretty hard. We fished, swan with turtles, saw the dolphins swim along side our boat, SURFED (my favorite), looked at properties, met some of the locals, went to a Costa Rican rodeo, and visited the local school. All in all I know that we don't appreciate the many luxuries we have. We were lucky and stayed in a nice place but the locals live a very simple life. They seem to be happy people despite their living conditions.
